Seems like Hester is still mad over Cutler's comment about him when he said, "Devin is more of a go-get-it guy; he is not really a back shoulder or jump-up-and-get-it (guy)."

Jay probably could have communicated more and tried to do more for Devin's confidence, but no matter what, Hester just isn't a good WR that has awful hands. The whole making him into a WR in the first place, especially with the expectations to be a number 1, was completely idiotic.

What has changed with Hester's numbers since leaving Chicago? Nothing. He is still the third to fourth option, he still hasn't gotten more than 500 yards receiving since 2009, he still drops open passes and he still has lackluster numbers at WR. Ryan is the better QB and more communative but it hasn't changed how bad Hester is at WR despite the falcons having zero running game since Turner left.

Lol does anyone really think that Hester is even a decent receiver? He was never able to out-perform guys like Rashied Davis, Earl Bennett, Johnny Knox, and Roy Williams.

Sounds like Hester was just speaking truth is all. It's not like he was just taking shots for the sake of taking shots. He could have said Jay holds onto the ball to long, stares down receivers, makes poor decisions, and rants at players on the field.

I thought Hester was a garbage WR and laughable a best when Lovie/Angelo determined he was worthy of being the teams #WR.

No he wasn't a decent WR, he was actually pretty bad at it thought they could have used him better. They needed to justify his salary when they could have simply said we will use him in special packages on offense and HE IS THE BEST FUCKING RETURNER THAT THERE IS, HAS BEEN, AND WILL EVER BE. Devin Hester IS BEAST MODE.

Maybe so, but if he really wants to be truthful, he should say that he's not very good at WR and had no business being a #1 or #2 wide out. It's not like Ryan's leadership and communication skills has helped him improve...he still isn't good.

I just didn't see the point of this. His stats and game still hasn't changed lol. Ryan being nice and talking to him hasn't made him better even on a pass happy team
