Bortles has been in the league 4 years now and still has bouts of terrible play. He also had a much more distinguished college career than Trubisky. Trubisky is already starting over with a new coaching staff, offense, playbook, etc. only after his rookie season. Keep this in mind when setting expectations for next season. It’s gonna take Trubisky a solid 2-3 years from now to reach his potential.

Trubisky is already a better QB than bortles...

What am I missing? Wasn't Ben well over the LOS when he threw that pass?

If Bortles can play as well as he has the past few drives, I think they might have a chance against the Patriots.

Bortles sucks, but I do think Jax has the best chance to beat New England. Go back and watch Brady last year in the playoffs against Houston. The dude completely folds when you can get some hits on him. The only reason they won that game was Brock Lobster.

I actually don't mind trying the onside kick, but the execution itself was awful. It never had a chance to go 10 yards.

Onsids kick was a good call. Just really poor execution. Needed a 3 and out to have a chance either way..

Tomlin is gonna get roasted for that onside kick. He had 2 timeouts, the 2 minute warning, and the most stacked offense in the league.

I was thinking about the game against Denver 2 years ago as well. Jax will bring the heat, but obviously Brady and the offense will probably still get theirs. Bortles has to be pretty consistent to win against the Pats IMO.
