The lions were still in it —- until BJ got the bright idea to have a WR pass the ball. Interception. The Dub’s score. Game over.

That was the backbreaker

You learn a lot about people and coaches by what they do IN CRUNCH TIME. That was BJ’s Eberflus moment of not calling a time out with the clock running out.

That decision was disqualifying. Even Troy Aikman called him out for that decision.
Yes, eliminate an entire resume due to one play. Stop being ridiculous.

If the rumors are true that he's an introvert and can't command a room/be a leader then he's prob not the guy for HC

Not sure why they're talking to Eddie George but not Kingsbury

No, of course not. But there are things called tests in life —- it’s tests that show your mettle —- that show what you are truly made of.

This was his test. Highest stakes. #1 seed. Season on the line. And what did he do?? Has a WR throw the ball.

That’s what I am talking about. Some guys come up clutch and think clearly in those moments. While other guys do the Eberflus as time ticks down.

I still want him here. Ben Johnson and Robert Saleh. Or Joe Brady and Robert Saleh. Or Liam Coen and Robert Saleh. Coen scares me the most because Canales has been responsible for turning around Geno, Mayfield, and Young, somewhat. Brady has Allen. BJ has Jared fucking Goff and had people thinking the Lions were actually a contender.

Kliff is probably more vindicated than Murray, but man, Daniels is HIM. I want to see the people that were trashing Daniels earlier come out and give that man his flowers.

You love Robert Saleh. I think the 9ers offered him a bunch of dough.

I think having a former HC that can take care of the defense is the way to go, especially with a first time HC. It just takes a lot off his plate.

The Lions were down 10 and their defense was playing absolutely awful. The game was over before that play call. Was it a great play call, no. But the Lions needed a spark and it backfired. Even if they made something out of that play, chances were the Commanders would score on the following drive

Hard to argue. I really don't think Robert Saleh would coach the Bears D though. It's a long shot. But I like the idea.

This is all nonsense. Go look at Goffs turnovers that put them in the hole. Dude was playing like absolute shit and Ben Johnson has to resort to a trick play to try to create a spark. Williams was an idiot for throwing it, but it was a dumb playcall and you can't expect a wr to know not to make that throw. That game was an epic collapse by Goff and Glenn.

And I'm not saying Johnson will be a good HC, he might be an absolute epic failure, but eliminating what he's done because of one play call is straight up ridiculous.

Did you see the pressure he was under?? Why not roll pocket and make things easier for your QB? — or change the protections. BJ did nothing. BJ left Goff back there - stationary - to fend for himself.

That’s on BJ
The Lions scored 31 points with 5 turnovers.

BJ did nothing!…😭😭😭

It's almost like head coaches; when hired their 2nd time around; continue to suck.

Bill Belicheck says hello

Dan Quinn wants to know how you like his season thus far.

He did have questionable calls and that trick play with one of the dumbest players in the nfl is questionable.

But it doesn’t negate 2.5 years of great playcalling.

Every coach will look like an idiot from time to time. This game is certainly on Goff and the ass defense. Eventually both would cost them

This is by far the dumbest shit you’ve posted.

Just say no to kliff. I’m sorry. If this was 3 years down the road maybe, but don’t risk Caleb on his resurgence as a head coach.

His first run was awful. They should have hired him as OC this year that’s about it

Whats the difference between him and Johnson....other than he's already been a HC at multiple levels and with another dumpster fire organization?
