Does anyone know what happened with Terry? He finally got back, was back for about a week, and has since been off again the last two or three weeks. I'm assuming he's still having health-related issues?

Correct. Everyone is being really tight lipped about it out of respect for Terry but I've heard everything from complications from the surgery(ala Steve Kerr) to some sort of cancer or cardiac issue. Any scenario isn't really good and all I know is that it's fairly serious and people are legit concerned about him. Boers is really well liked and respected around the office.

Based on some conversations I've had with people he's expected to retire at the end of the year....Prior to his surgery and issues there was talk of renewing his contract for another year or so but that's all but gone out the window now.

That's too bad about Boers. The show needs a strong personality to balance Bernstein. Abbatacola is not the man IMO. I find that I listen far less when he is on. I think they should look for someone outside the station as I haven't heard anyone that really blows me away as his replacement besides guys who have gigs in Goff or Holmes.

I cannot stand to listen to Jason Goff. He can't go 5 minutes without making an awkward reference to race.

I also have no idea why they use Rosenbloom as one of the fillers in on B&B. He has constant heavy phlegm, or it sounds like he does. Every time he pronounces a hard "c" it makes my eyes water. If ever there was a voice for print.

I heard Mike North is looking for a gig.

When was this? I wasn't able to catch any of the show after 3 today. Did he talk about this in the last hour?

Hub was on from 5-5:30 as usual. Right after the 5:30 break Boers addressed his retirement on the air.

He broke down a few times.

FWIW, definitely sounds like a cancer of some kind.

I hope Terry beats his health problem. Bernstein is an ass half of the time but Terry was ok.

That's a terrible sign...when they made the announcement last month they said it would be January 5th...

What are they saying is the reason?

I'm not sure, I haven't heard, I just saw something about it on their facebook page.
