I think brett's analogy is fine. As it stands, the Cubs need to tear the place down and build back up before they can remodel. That seems like a fair assessment to me. Naturally I could be wrong and often am, but I don't think brett is completely wrong, if at all. The only amendment I'd make is that a remodel will work for a mall that is on the fence to try to make it more successful. If the mall is failing, there's no point, just tear it down.
