The issue that the OP rightly (and correctly) addresses has been discussed ad nauseum. Change is not a popular topic with Bulls fans (or fans of any Chicago based team). They get so caught up with the hero worship that they can't see the necessities of the team.

Truthfully, players like Noah, Taj and Deng should have been moved years ago when they actually had value. With the exception of Taj, it's too late now. That ship has sailed. The Bulls are stuck with these guys for the next 3 or 4 years. After that, the rebuild, which has been delayed for all the excuses homer fans come up with to justify staying pat, will be painfully slow and cruel to a fan base that has sold out tickets for a decade. You get what you ask for, I guess.

You cared enough to reply twice now. Oh the irony in your last post. And again,... your stupidity. If you can't take it, stop posting. Better yet, stop posting regardless.

Truth is heresy around here. You'd rather go on beleiving what the media tells you, instead of trusting your eyes and your own judgement. To me, that is what's stupid. The Bulls are sucking, Thibs is incapable of adjusting his coaching style, and the contracts on this roster make it impossible to make any substantial upgrades. Waiting for the core players to get "healthy" is unrealistic considering their injuries.

The truth hurts.

Korver has really become a special player. Sixth man of the year would be definitely deserved.

Affalo or Mike Barnes would be a good fit.

Typical pessimistic Chicago fans who start flipping out the second things are not perfect.

Truly a bunch of spoiled people from the Jordan/Pippen/Jackson era. If you keep comparing everything to that, you're ALWAYS going to be disappointed.

Rose: Coming back into form.

Noah: Has a chance to gain strength in his knee and come back into form (they need him).

Gasol: Is an all-star STARTER! Jesus Christ man. Some of you people complaining are the exact same one who said the Bulls should fire everybody when we "missed out" on Melo.

Brooks: Good signing.

Hinrich: Probably plays too much but it's better than giving extra minutes to Butler.

Mirotic: Rookie of the Year candidate.

Butler: Most improved player, hands-down. Should be an all-star reserve.

Thibodeau: Some of you people really think Thibs is the problem? I'm not saying he's perfect, because he damn sure isn't. But if you think losing him is going to help this team, you are wrong. He's one of the better coaches in the NBA. There is nobody out there who would be better suited to coach this team than Thibs.

Chicago Bulls team overall: both small forwards and Noah are out right now. They just lost two games to a VERY good Wizards team and another to a team that has won 24 of their last 26. The Hawks are great at creating and minimizing their own turnovers; The Bulls suck at that (right now). Calm. The Hell. Down. This team not too long ago won 10 of 11 games with Rose playing very inconsistently and Noah playing below average as a starting center. They are 27-15 overall and you are calling for trades/Thibs+FO jobs?

Great a grip on reality. This team can win the East. Getting rid of core players and management is truly going to hinder- not help.

It's not nothing. They got back Hinrich which really helped them considering Korver is getting paid 6M/yr and Hinrich is getting paid almost nothing.

Korver can create nothing for himself off of the dribble. He's becoming very overrated.

I suppose you think the Luol Deng for "nothing" trade was good at the same time you think the Korver one was bad?

Hinrich was a separate deal

we got a TPE back from Atlanta that we never used aka we got jack shit

as far as Deng it depends on the Kings pick...if we dont get it then that was a crappy trade aswell

One of the worst decisions ever for this franchise.

i wouldn't go THAT far

The Deng trade, regardless of the pick, gave the FO the necessary cap space to bring in Gasol, Mirotic, & Brooks, who are all important pieces to the championship puzzle.

Typical overly optimistic homer comments from a Chicago fan. If most Chicago sports fans were "typically pessimistic" as you say, people wouldn't show up for Cubs, Bears and Bulls games year after year. Chicago fans are the exact opposite; losing doesn't make them pessimistic, change does.

Deng was expiring...not sure if there were any tax implications ??

but if we got cap to sign important pieces thats more than we got for Korver

Uh, we offered Deng a new contract and he wanted more than we offered. Had we kept Deng, we likely would have the same roster that everyone was bitching about for years! Why the **** would people criticize that trade now? :dunno:

It freed up the money that everyone wanted for a run at Melo, which EVERYONE wanted. Melo was a pussy and the Bulls still put together a pretty good off season. But what do some Bulls fans do? They ***** about trading Deng for nothing. WTF!
