I was earlier but unfortunately, Hou, I meant on the court issues and front office, I don't care if JR is an equal opportunity employer or a racist, I watch the team for entertainment, not politics. If I want politics, I'll turn on CNN.

Jerry Reinsdorf seems like a good enough guy overall. I think the problem that everyone with JR has is that JR refuses to pay the luxury tax, which costed us a few very good players like Pau Gasol and Ben Gordon.

I think he gets a bad rap for that, not paying for Pau Gasol, makes sense in hindsight...he is not a guy who should be the main man on your team. Not paying for Gordon...he deserves the Nobel Prize for Business Management behind that decision...

He went after Wallace, and was willing to go over for Garnett and Kobe. I respect that. For great players he is willing to go over the top.

Even their sucking wasn't that bad. They won 45-50 games in the west and he was surrounded by role players like batier, posey, miller and williams. Pau is definetly capable of being a one as long as he has talent around him.

Pau is not a championship number 1. He is not a "chief" as Reggie Miller said. He is inferior to players on that level and you couldn't beat Lebron and Howard with him as your best player...plus he doesn't have that mentality...like Kobe or Garnett has...

I think Pau is at the level that I'd realistically hope for with Rose. Could be the best guy on a championship team but would need a really good supporting cast (probably another couple of all-stars).

I'm not sure if they Bulls had got him they'd have been quite good enough to win a championship, but they'd have been a chance. That said, I'm still not convinced that the supposed "deal that fell through because the Bulls are cheap" was real either.

JR cares about money first, winning falls in sometime after.

Believe me JR doesn't care if you're white, black, hispanic, asian, arab, martian, as long as you have money to pay - that's all that matters to JR.

Well, I don't blame him...make the money...that is most important.

What I am talking about is that from a character standpoint, I would rather have Reinsdorf running my team than Sterling...

Everyone calls him cheap...no one can tell me when he closed the wallet to an offer to make his team a contender...

JR is just a capitalistic gangsta!

If his interviews are to be believed, Reinsdorf gets involved in personnel decisions. I don’t believe he should have an opinion on that if we want to win. He knows very, very little about basketball and what it takes to win. He proved this by giving Krause 6 post-Jordan years, when Krause exposed himself as an incompetent fool after 3.

His loyalty is a big thing but I guess when a GM is a crucial part of getting you 6 championships, you give him additional time.

I don't see why giving Krause 6 years is held against him ... if you're going to blow up a team and stink for draft picks, firing a guy after 3 years is a bit rough. Aren't some people up in arms because JR refused to stay the course with a certain player? ;)

Even with everybody up in arms about Bulls management now, they still have made more playoff apearnaces than the Clippers this decade

And yet we both have gotten exactly as far as one another in the playoffs. Nevermind the fact that the west was much deeper than the east those years. And if you just moved them to the east they would have made it an additional time and if you adjusted for an easier schedule in the east they probably make it a third time.

That is because of the talent on the team...that is funny, we let one go and people get upset, yet they were no better than the Clippers...maybe that is why they are letting certain people go...

Your right, MJ was on 30,38 and 40 win teams, I can't believed we resigned that ball hog sg that disrupted the offensive flow, people said could never lead a team to a ring. Glad no one listened to your line of thinking in 1987. BG isn't MJ but I could see you singing in that chorus back then. Same thing with Kobe being on 34 and 42 win teams, you need more than one guy in the nba.
