Indeed. Too bad people don't remember the same about Starlin Castro though.

:yep: I know people who complain about his defense all the time and say he should be in the minors when he makes errors, and then when he doesn't make errors they say he sucks because he is only batting .296 this month and saying he's past his prime... like WTF?

Overblown expectations. Plus every loser team needs a scapegoat.

Oh, so Iowa is on MiLB.TV and you have seen him first (or second I guess) hand then as opposed to radio stream?

Nearly every AAA games is on MiLB. Really yesterday and today's game in Memphis is the first I've noticed that wasn't on. I really haven't been watching the past couple of weeks, but Vitters defense has been passable at 3B when I have watched.

As far a castro is concerned, again he is the only bright spot on this team, so he will be looked at in a bit more beer goggled way. As of right now he is a "hits" player much like juan pierre was. I still dont see where he will evolve into this power hitter and his OBP is weak. No one knows what his ceiling is, its all speculation. I just wish the fans calling the score stopped with the hanley ramriez comparisons.

Jackson's single was on a two-strike count FWIW.

B-Jax has been batting 6th a lot lately. Wonder if they move him back to leadoff as he warms up again as his patience is the best for top of the order.
