Nope Blake Lalli is getting the start at 1B. Vitters and Brett Jackson each with a hit in the game so far, and no strikeouts between the two of them. Rafael Dolis is on now.

Did anyone post that? I honestly don't understand why they wouldn't start Rizzo in game 1 and take him out for game 2 if they had a choice. I don't say it couldn't happen. I just don't get the logic behind that I guess.

Vitters playing 1st base in game 2. At least I think that is what I heard.

Guess they wanted to give him 1 more day. Not seeing him in lineup again starting to worry me

Again when I see shoulder for pitchers and wrist for hitters I am always nervous.

I was wrong Vitters is at 3rd but no Rizzo. Lalli is playing 1st. Another interesting thing is that Sappelt is playing center and Jackson is in right.

They always play BJax at multiple OF positions. They've been doing that since Hendry drafted him. His maximal value is obviously in CF though.

Jay Jackson is getting lit up as a starter. Jay Jackson the reliever this year has been pretty solid though, and he might become useful as a reliever like Casey Coleman might have done.

Gameday's strike zone suggests that the ump might just be a dick, but the poor guy hasn't gotten an out yet. At least most of the pitches are in the general vicinity of the strike zone

I stopped watching after Rizzo wasn't playing and Jay Jackson was terrible. I will check it out later, but the guy has always had issues with walks.
