Logan Watkins just missed a homerun. It bounced off the warning track over the wall to make it second and third with no outs to start the first inning for TN. Ha lead off the inning with a soft single.

Everyone probably knows by now but Iowa's game got postponed. smokes lost 6-4. junior Lake struck out to end the game. he missed on a pitch pretty far our of thevzone with an ugly swing.

The Cubs signed free agent right-hander Shane Lindsay and released left-hander Nate Robertson, MLB.com's Carrie Muskat reports. Lindsay, who was released by the Dodgers earlier this month, will report to Triple-A Iowa. He has a 3.61 ERA with 10.8 K/9 and 8.9 BB/9 in three Triple-A seasons. His trouble with walks persisted in the Dodgers' organization earlier this year.

I guess he was with the Sox last year. I don't remember watching him at all last year. Apparently he is hard thrower, mid 90s fastball. He strikes out a bunch of guys and walks a bunch of guys. He is Australian as well. Not a bad low risk pick up and it means Nate Robertson is gone.
