Vitters bobbled a grounder at him that should have been a double play ball. He recovered to get the runner at 2nd, but that allowed the first run to score in the inning.

Cost team a run. I bet he makes it up with bat. Stewart cant do that :smug2:

Beliveau comes in after Bowden surrenders a single and two walks. One down, all ducks on the pond belong to Bowden.

Still sucks in AAA lol

IMHO I think Rizzo should be in the MLB all star game.

Sappelt has been pretty bad an Iowa this year.

Yeah I know, but what has Reed Johnson done for the Cubs? They will even it out and whoelse can be called up? The only name that I can really think of of whom does not need much playing time is Sappelt.

I don't think it matters. Reed Johnson is also making over a million dollars so they'll keep him around until the waiver deadline and then the call-ups can start. I don't think he'll be released or anything and at that point rosters expand so both guys can stick around and share playing time.

I think he'll be traded... teams will have interest in Johnson. There's no way by any means that the Cubs will release him.

If that's the case they can probably avoid Super Two with both Rizzo and Jackson.

Dude is putting up Brian LaHair numbers in the PCL...(this being his second time through there and at age 22 makes it a whole lot more impressive though).
