MILB.com also offers gameday for AA and AAA games that looks pretty similar to the stuff that is offered through MLB.com.

Saw that Brett Jackson's strikeout tonight was on 7 pitches. 2-2 count. He usually doesn't make quick outs.

He definitely works the count. The average going up is nice, but the swings and misses are still a concern.

Yeah, I think that happens a lot for people who get into a lot of two-strike counts. The good news for Jackson is that most of the time those aren't 0-2 counts.

Jackson 4 for 5, 2 2B, 2 RBI, 1 K
RizzMan 1 for 5, 1 BB, 1 RBI, 2 K
JoshVits 2 for 5, 2 1B, 0 RBI, 0 K

Good nights, even in a bad game Rizzo still reached base twice. Jackson only K'd once, and Vitters put the ball in play.

If no one else is qualified when DeJesus' contract is up, I hope Brett Jackson leads off. Solid OBP should do the trick.

I could see leadoff, but I am guessing that the future of the Cubs lineup is going to involve Jackson-Castro-Rizzo in order. Whether that is 1-2-3 or 2-3-4 remains to be seen.

Also for Jackson leading off, I will take the 76% career stolen base percentage combined with his power. He ought to be in scoring position a fair bit.
