It is early, but the fact that he has to be ready so soon makes this more than a little concerning.

RT @IowaCubs Rizzo drives in his 25th RBI with a 2B down the line to put the Cubs on the board, extends his hit streak to 12 games. #stayhot

How much longer can he stay in AAA?

July 2nd and or as long as Brian LaHair is top 5 in OPS...

Im thinking LaHair needs to be moved to LF. Rizzo at 1B. Not sure what Sori would do (hopefully on a new team  )

If LaHair keeps hitting it sounds like that might be a possibility, but he needs to keep hitting for that to happen. LaHair being traded isn't impossible. I just don't see a team giving up much for a guy that has had a couple of months of success at age 29.

I agree i dont see a team paying very much for a 29 y/o rookie having a great start. I think since he so cheap he look good in LF. Love to put Castro in 2 hole with LaHair and Rizzo 3-4

Chiefs are on the board! Paul Hoilman with his 1st career triple and now has an 18-game hit streak, tied for 5th longest in team history

I need to look this kid up. See if he a legit spec or just having great 3 weeks. Im going to WED game so will see him up close

The fact that Brett Jackson is striking out about a thousand times a game is helping the Cubs with the decision to keep him down in AAA.

The Bryan LaHair success story is also going to help them keep Rizzo down for a bit. I think they can conceivably avoid Super Two with Jackson and they'll definitely get that extra year with Rizzo though I doubt they care as much about Super Two with him.

I'm not high on him... he's playing great, but again, it's low A. I wouldn't look much into him.

I was at this game.

Kid got fucking rocked.

The Chiefs looked better on Sunday but their defense stunk.

He can't hit a curveball to save his life. Hector Hernandez made him look idiotic in his first at bat and just kept throwing him curves. His hit came off a fastball. Pretty solid hit off a fastball off his show tops but...kid has serious issues with breaking pitches.

Anthony Rizzo with a 3R HR! ICubs jump out to a 3-0 lead over Fresno

Read report where LaHair could be doing some OF work in the next week or 2.
