I guess one positive is it's a cheap draft for us.

Look at the position Pace is putting Jenkins in. He basically has to play LT. Imagine using this year's 2nd & 3rd for a right tackle, if left doesn't work out.

Pace put a lot of pressure on this young man.

Have you spoken to Jenkins directly to ascertain how much pressure he feels he is under. I suspect he has less doubts about himself than you do.

It's a legit concern. The rumor is that many scouts had him as RT only, hence he slid out of the 1st round.

And when someone proves other GMs wrong, that someone is Ryan Pace.

It is a legit concern for you and those scouts. That doesn't mean it is a legit concern for Castillo or that Jenkins feels any pressure. You are assuming he is concerned about playing LT or feels pressured when by all accounts he is quite comfortable playing either. So you are projecting your concerns onto the young man. It is one thing to say you are concerned. Quite another to presume Jenkins is.

I feel Jenkins will ultimately be a decent LT, just hoping he doesn't get Fields killed during his learning curve
