I really can't tell if Hairston's mid range game has improved, or if he's just taking more shots - lol -- but either way, having a (second) 4 that can spread the floor a bit is only going to help Duke in the tourney.

Looks like he changed his shot form a bit. Not so trebuchet-like, has more control and touch when he releases.

Agreed. He took a shot about 4 games ago w/ a foot on the 3pt line, and I was like "wtf..."but he's been gaining confidence in the shot. It's good to see....perhaps he can have a role similar to that designed for Kelly next year? Not the 3's obviously, but spacing, good jumper, solid defense? Still gotta work on the foul trouble.

I think Hairston can keep a defense honest with that shot, but I think he should continue to try to mix it up in the post as he can with his body. I like Hairston getting out and spacing, but I also like Hairston coming up to rebound right under the basket, so i think the key is balance.

Down goes Miami -- 80-65 against Wake. Duke/Miami play next weekend...Duke's still got a shot to win the ACC, but Miami needs to lose against them and lose one of there remaining three (all home games) while Duke would need to win out...and that would still only be a split i believe...but -- it's really not that important. Just get Kelly healthy and keep improving.

I don't get the game, so just some interesting stats from the 1st half of the Duke/BC game
Cook (So) Jefferson (Fr) and Sulaimon (Fr) have 35 points. BC has 27.
Jefferson and Sulaimon (Fr) have made the same # of shots as BC.
Duke is shooting 62% from the field, 63% from Three, and 77% from the FT line.
Only 5 players have scored for Duke, w/ Curry (Sr) and Plumlee (Sr) scoring 8 a piece.
Plumlee (Sr) also has 8 rebounds.
I expect our Srs will get some time to rest in the 2nd half.
