They are a better team than Maryland. They were a better team than Maryland when they lost to them last game...but Maryland has shown more fight in the last game, and in the 1st half of this one. Duke is beginning to pick it up, especially defensively, and the game's close again.

FWIW, Lunardi still has Duke as a #1. hah. Miami will likely take that spot if they win the ACC Tourney, though.

Pro: Duke probably gets a #1 seed
Con: Carolina wins an ACC title(the actual one) in a down year for them and a year that Duke was looking up with 3 seniors.
I think Miami wins, but I should should just let it play out and look at the silver lining for the scenario that unfolds.

Then Michigan State, #10 kenpom, in the third round, a physical team with size and slashing guards such as appling and harris and a strong SF in Dawson. Then if we get past that, we may have to play the best team in the nation in the Elite Eight.

We very well could. Frankly, it's going to come down to our shooting. When we shoot well, we can beat anyone. When we can't make a fucking shot(4 for 25 from 3 against Maryland), we have a lot of trouble.
I don't think I've seen Maryland play better than they did against Duke that first game. That was just a bad game all around.
The biggest concern I have is Kelly, who needs to get back in a rhythm. After running on adrenaline for his game in Miami, he hasn't really gotten into the flow offensively. We really need him for more than just spacing and defense.
