Maybe now the haters won’t say he’s not a long term answer at Safety? People were hating because he doesn’t play 40 yards deep to clean up all the missed tackles because his position is titled “Safety”, yet here he is as the 2nd best playmaker behind Mack (and maybe Hicks) on the team.

(Yes Hicks is a beast and a better player than Jackson is).

Someone should dig up the hot takes after CCS found out he had a rod in his leg on draft night.

Eddie Jackson is definitely a playmaker. Great find by Pace.

Jackson had haters?

He and Miller are probably my favorite players on this team. Dude is a stud and looked good from very early in his rookie season.

I love watching Miller play. Dude plays with an edge every down and he doesn't take any shit from the other team.

Jackson is the best player in the secondary and it's not even close.

I love me some E Jack but he still has his flaws. I don't see anyone making a thread for Amos after his INT. Several of our DBs have a bad habit of trying to lay a hit over wrap up tackling. Eddie is clearly a good safety that makes valuable plays on the ball. There is a cost to a safety being that aggressive though and he's made his fair share of mistakes because of it. The thing is that right now Eddie is making that many splash plays you can overlook the bad ones. I'm still not trying to spend my wad on re-signing him though. We have others in line for a pay day too and the cap dollars are becoming scarce. He is looking like a keeper though, that is becoming undeniable.

All the haters were bitching about the loss to MIA

That doesn't make anyone a hater. He flat out sucked that game. Not sure why this bothers you.

Bears need to resign Callahan and sign another olb/passrusher.

I was happy from day one. I celebrated that we got at worst a second round pick worthy player in the fifth round, all because of a routine injury that was expected to have no lingering problems.

No player is perfect but this guy brings a whole goddamn bunch to the table. He and the rest of the DB group should thank Mack and Hicks for every dollar in their banks.

I liked that as soon as he grabbed that INT, he was pointing to a teammate where to block for his return.

Bears have four Pick Sixes. No other team has more than two.

With the injury to Earl Thomas its basically between Byard in Tennessee and Jackson for best safety in the NFL. And if you want to bitch about Eddie against Miami you should go back and watch Andrew Luck carve the Titans into neat little slices.
