Granted both of the prospects stock had fallen during the course of the season but that is 2 top 10 prospects for a 36 year old, free agent to be, bad fielding 1B that hasn't OPSed over .800 since 2009. I like what that suggests about the market.

MVP: Anthony Rizzo, of course. Not only have the Cubs gone 5-2 since he was brought up, but the team was so fired up he was getting the call that they won last Monday without him. So his mere presence has caused the Cubs to win six of their past eight. Just imagine if he was up all season! LVP: Any fan who is already angry at the Theo Epstein administration. Seriously, people, you can't expect a rebuilding project to yield a good team in Year 1.
