First since Mark Bellhorn (yes, THE Mark Bellhorn) did it as a Cub in 2002.

My dad used to swear up and down that he watched Eddie Murray do this as well back in the 80s, claiming he was the only guy to ever do so until Baerga did it 93. I never managed to find any information on it, but I do recall that my dad and several other Orioles fans were up in arms with media outlets that they kept saying that Baerga was the first. I recall USA Today having MANY letters written to the editor and published briefly after Baerga's feat, stating that Murray was the first. Yet, the official word is that Baerga was the first. Just always found that rather intriguing.

No Soriano to LA... though I wonder if they'd Jackson since Victorino is a FA after this season. Dempster and Jackson for Webster and maybe a lesser positional guy like Alex Castellanos or a lesser arm way down in the system?

That's what I think it was. Murray hit one from the left side in the 3rd. Then he hit one from the right side in the 4th. People confused it for the same inning.
