I'm sure Murray's done it a bunch of times in a game but probably not in the same inning. I have no desire to look through the game logs though :lol:My dad used to swear up and down that he watched Eddie Murray do this as well back in the 80s, claiming he was the only guy to ever do so until Baerga did it 93. I never managed to find any information on it, but I do recall that my dad and several other Orioles fans were up in arms with media outlets that they kept saying that Baerga was the first. I recall USA Today having MANY letters written to the editor and published briefly after Baerga's feat, stating that Murray was the first. Yet, the official word is that Baerga was the first. Just always found that rather intriguing.
