Can't even sell out their snazzy new stadium. Maybe it's because of that sculpture that's like the entrance into Hell.

Really good to see Evan Longoria back in the Rays lineup. My fantasy team likes it too. :D

My boy Giancarlo Stanton made quite a return tonight. 4-5 2 HR's and 4 RBI. Would be sweet if the Cubs could ever get him.

I loved Beck when he was a Cub. And for some reason he was a player my dad new and liked and he hardly watches baseball.
He was a character. The kick save in the one game playoff is still a favorite baseball memory of mine. The Cubs ran him out so much that year that it probably destroyed his arm. I just remember how hesistant Riggleman was to bring in Beck during the playoffs and it was clear why once he did because he had nothing left in the tank.

As I stated in my introduction post last year, that's my favorite Cub moment of all time. The man gave everything he had, and left it on the field after that game.

Tim Lincecum pitched well enough today but seems to be on the hook for the loss since his team has no offense so far.

I wonder if it's worth it to offer to pay his next year's salary and try to snag him for the Cubs, or if this is really the end for good Timmy.

Amusing that Tyler Colvin is owning Lincecum tonight. Just two line-drive singles but it still shows up as 2-for-3
