Jeff Francoeur just apparently stole home.

The world is going to end.

One of my favorite players. Very disappointing season he's had. I remember when he first came up with the Braves in the early 2000s. Those Atlanta teams were awesome to watch.

But seriously, I like how Sveum's handled the Cubs' season so far even though the team sucks (expected). I think Ben Cherington wanted Sveum but ownership muscled him into hiring Bobby V. At least that's how I understood it. Maybe FT or some other Boston-philes can help us out with that.

That is exactly the scenario I had heard, and why I've suggested we get a fruit basket for Henry/Lucchino. Sveum wanted Boston and if he had been offered the job he would have taken that.

A-Gon and Pedroia led that group, pissed that Bobby V left Lester in to take an 11-run shellacking.

Castro would agree with them.

I can only imagine how awkward that Red Sox clubhouse has become, hopefully this vibe will scare some free agents away from them come the winter

I hope Boston loses for over 200 years, New York as well.
