I like Strongbow, K, and Magners in the summertime, but when it comes to cider, it doesn't get better than an ice cold genuine Scrumpy for me.

Ciders are fantastic. K is under-rated, taken a bit of a hit over here due to the fact people seem to associate it with youth and a cheeky tin on the park bench, it's better than that, works a treat in a mixed shot I had a cple of years back, strong but you get drunk fairly quick with it. Good drunk though. As for a scrumpy, totally agree, something with a fullbody, I loved my time in Bristol and Taunton/Glastonbury those were the days.

Ah man, there's no finer drinking than a long summer day in the west country.

I am usually down for regular shit like Bud or Coors or whatever if it isn't good liquor, but lately I've been digging some Blue Moon.

Hmm, here lately I've gone through several "favorite" beer iterations. I was big on Highland Brewings Seasonal Winter Warmer, " Cold Mountain" but then a local beer pub, "Wicked Weed" put out a beer called Milk & Cookies, a stout based beer that's a bit high gravity 8%, but with a really interesting cinnamon after taste, extremely drinkable. Kind of where I stand at the moment, stay tuned though, I hit a new place in Asheville called, Burial Beer Co. and had an interesting first tasting.

Oh, Wicked Weed's brewmaster came from Deleware's brewery, Dogfish Head. Very good at their craft.

My first beer was something called Not Your Father's Root Beer. It was like root beer...but worse.

Actually it wasn't that bad, but the alcohol bitterness was a bit much imo.

Big IPA fan. My favorites would be:

Lagunitas Sucks
Firestone Walker Union Jack
Three Floyds Zombie Dust
Ballast Point Sculpin IPA
Alesmith IPA
Schlafly Tasmanian IPA
Founders Double Trouble
Firestone Walket Wookey Jack
Stone Sublimely Self Righteous Ale
Ska Modus Hoperandi

Unfortunately since moving to South Texas I'm not able to get some of my favorites here. The selection kind of sucks compared to when I was in Illinois.

Weihenstephaner heffeweissbier. It's German, if you can't tell. There's two different types of heffe sold here, filtered and unfiltered. The filtered is good but the unfiltered is excellent, if you like shit floating around in your beer.

No, we're talking about beer...

I forgot to add that I'll drink a wide variety of beers as long as it's not some shitty, lite piss water. Living in Colorado, it's actually kind of hard to find anything but microbrews. Thank god...

La Fin Du Monde is probably #1. Also a big fan of Cigar City's Maduro along with a bunch of other stuff. Really kind of have to refine it by type of beer for me to give a good answer. I'm a big fan of IPA's in general for example. Still need to get my hands on some Dreadnaught to check that out.

Edit> For those of you who like Newcastle, I think you would really like Maduro brown ale (if you can find it): http://www.cigarcitybrewing.com/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&id=10&Itemid=33

Oh man, I love Weihenstephaner. This bar I used to go to in Israel (I used to go there for business a lot) had it on tap. Fell in love with it there.
