You asked me what my favorite food was didn't you?

I did, but under the bad joke of "whey protein" ya know? because you work out a lot apparently. WHen you said Pho, I was still on the protein line. Jokes on me.

I'm not a fan of the supplement industry in general, and GNC having their employees lie about shit to sell overpriced products that don't really do much is a scam to me.

Um no. Don't make blanket statements when you don't know what you're talking about. Thanks.

You don't know that unsaturated fat is good for you? What kind of a gym rat are you?

I'm not talking about just salmon. Any food that's high in unsaturated fat is really good for you. Most seafood, all natural peanut butter or avocados are just a few examples.

Are you Special person? You posted a "healthy meal" as GRILLED salmon, then just posted the nutritional information for BAKED salmon to show a disparity in fat content.

You realize that cooking methods alter nutritional content correct? Why not just post the nutritional information for a deep fried salmon to prove nothing? Let's try this again.

A 6 ounce salmon, dry heat (grilled)

http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/finfish-and-shellfish-products/4259/2

22 Grams of fat, though in reality it's between 20 to 25grams

That's a half of a fillet hombre.

A 6 ounce ribeye is going to be between 25 and 30g of fat.

Like I said, there is little difference.

Except there is not much of a difference.

If one meal is making it hard for you to hit your marks... you're doing something wrong.

I didn't realize I said grilled in the first post. Not sure why I typed that actually, b/c I almost always bake salmon. Maybe I was thinking about the steak already.

Whatever, not arguing with you about this. Have a nice day.

1. Chimichurri's, which is a Latin American slang word for a hamburger topped with grilled vegetables and special types of sauces.
2. Dirty rice, otherwise known as sausage jambalaya...which I make myself.
3. Eggs benedict, I have a modified version of hollandaise I make by adding a bit of cream cheese.
4. Smoked pork shoulder.
5. Raspberry/cherry cheesecake.

Favorite meals in no particular order;

Kobe Beef until I couldn't eat any more on Okinawa; they know how to love cows right.

Lobster and some form of bovine beast of burden at Phuket; only time I've ever had more lobster than I could eat, and the meat was fantastic whatever it was.

Mongolian BBQ on Anderson Beach Guam; you had to be there.

Uknown little fish caught from a mountain stream in Japan while camping (drinking/eating and sleeping outside in the mountains).

The last egg noodles my grandmother ever made; she showed me how to roll them out and I went home and cooked them myself.

Fish and chips from a roadside stand outside Mildenhal after drinking all night, or maybe Lakenheath but I forget. Bloody hell that was good.

Halibut; deep fried by some guys oustide a hanger at Elmendorf; they did a nice caribou and moose grill too but the halibut stole the show by far.

I had a deep fried snickers bar once, lol.

A friend of mine had deep fried twinkie at the stock show here a couple of years ago. He said it was good but made him sick later that night

And I need to add a +1 about Pho. That shit is awesome
