No sitcoms.
That is all of the sitcoms, as defined by the networks. Also these are all network shows, as regulated by the FCC.

There's an episode of Cheers where norm pretends to be *** to get a decorating job. Later, Sam pretends to be *** and is punched in the face by a buddy he kisses. You'd never see that on network tv today.Which does? I asked first. Network sitcoms. Heck, you can't even make fun of special classes of people, unless it is the special class of people who make fun of themselves. That is PC humor. In the early 80s, straight people could make fun of *** people. Now, not so much, just as one example. Whether or not that is good TV, whether or not it is right or wrong is a different argument. The fact is you can't do it and get away with it now.

The Munsters.
You'd see worse

Example?
Oh my. I really can't comment as I don't watch outside of the commercials. Too offensive. What about that show of the *** guys the thin red head and the drunk chubby girl?

I think you're right on. It's ok for a *** guy to make a joke, when a straight guy makes that comment it's homophobia - or at least that's how it's portrayed. Will and Grace? Ended a bit ago
But what was worse of it. The disconnect i'm thinking there is in this thread is that others are conflating worse as making fun of concepts like people being ***. I'm thinking, maybe wrong, that blatantly having *** guys kiss and self mocking is i'm essence to you, worse.

I should bow out because I don't watch any of those shows and can't make a fair comparison. But I did watch cheers and there was never one episode that I thought pushed any limit on what was considered socially acceptable or any theme they took on that hadn't been dealt with on tv before. At least that's how I remember it.Here, I'll make it easier. From wikipedia, all of the network sitcoms that air today.
