That is fantastic. Many 'guitar wankers' are just that. Here we have a guy who took arguably THE most underrated guitar talent (Mark Knopfler) and made it crazy good and melodic. Well done.

Knopfler is my absolute favorite. If I were to lock myself in a room and listen to his guitar playing for the rest of my life, I'd be a happy man. I once drove from LA to Vegas to watch him in concert on a Saturday night. His next concert was in LA the following night, so I drove back to LA again and saw his next show. He really shreds the guitar in concert, as opposed to his studio albums where he is a a little subdued in comparison (although still great).

That said, be careful when you watch him do 'I Still Can't Say Goodbye' - it's a Chet Atkins song about him missing his dead father. You will bawl uncontrollably.
