Or you can say Ministry - the ******y-est new wave band. 'With Sympathy' was a fruity tooty keyboard synth new wave record. Crazy how different their sound became after.
Was never a huge industrial guy. Some were more 'avant garde' like The Swans. Others were more early industrial/dance stuff like Front 242, Revolting Cocks and the other Wax Trax label stuff.
I loved the Revolting Cocks 'Big Sexy Land' record and ANYTHING from Front 242 - 'Quite Unusual' being my favorite song.
Both the best Industrial song? 'I Will Refuse' by Pailhead featuring Ministry's Al Jourgenson and Ian Mackaye from Minor Threat:

Oh, and if you like some of the new dance industrial stuff check out Santa Hates Me. The chick is REALLY hot.
Dude, I love the fruity old ministry. Its very Duran Duran, flock of seagulls Esque. And their old music videos (from the early to mid 80s) were the shit.
Jourgenson looked like one of the Lost boys back then.
This will come off wrong, But my ex wife was big into Revolving Cocks haha.
The industrial dance stuff is not my bag. More than anything about Minesty that I love is the guitars. Writes some incredible riffs and blistering Leads. I've seen many a band in my day and Ministry was by FAR the loudest at an outdoor setting.
