It really wouldn’t be that big a deal unless you’re absolutely heart set on the first pick overall. Bears would still have pick 2&3 which is where they are today.

(Panthers have played one less game so they’d have to catch up in a loss. But of the teams with 2 wins Bears & Carolina would have lowest SOS)
I mean it depends on what they intend to do this offseason, no? That #1 pick gonna be valuable for a QB (for some team).

Also, like I said, it's the only game that really has any meaning compared to all the rest. To put it another way, if you had to chose ONE game for CHI to win the rest of the year, which would it be?

Do you think Fields will have 10 career wins by the end of the season?

He's had 3 years of play and has won 5 games.

Who gives a shit about his last 2 games? Cherry pick much?

I think you're confusing actual recent trends with cherry picking.

Ok route tree. Which route(S) is necessary that should be incorporated by the OC to help JF get the ball out quicker ?
I already know the answer. Whats your answer?

".he already had the longest time from snap to thrown in the leauge.?

this doesn't take into account 👉JF moving around to avoid the collapsing pocket

There is no route; most times he just won't throw the ball.

Of course.....another excuse; collapsing pocket, moving around, etc

Pretty sure Bag-o-Donuts has been sacked 4-5 times in 3.25 games...amazing how that number drops when you actually; you know; throw the ball on time.

Fields 31 game body of work is horrific; unless there is a magical 7 game stretch to end the season he's not gonna be here next year (and even then; he's likely gone)

Let the record show.....I asked you a football / offensive strategy question relation to quick release and u dodged it.
--------------

JF was getting the ball out quick enuff last yr to put up 30+ points/ game. What did the defense do???
I know....JF should've stayed out on the field and played some defense

People are weird when it comes to the whole Fields/Bagent thing. It’s treated like a zero sum game. Like if you’re on the Fields train then Bagent is the worst qb ever. Or for those who are intrigued by the things Bagent does well, then that means Fields will be washed out of the league in under 2 years.

Many of the things Fields excels at, Bagent doesn’t. Many of the things Fields needs work on, Bagent is very good at.

It’s possible to still hope Fields pulls it all together AND recognize Bagent looks like a very good backup with the potential to develop into something more.

Damnit you're correct - Bagent has more Touchdowns as well.

Their first 3 full starts:

Bagent: 3 passing TDs, 1 rushing TDs
Fields: 1 passing TDs, 0 rushing TDs

You left out the INTS. Who threw more INTS

Fields was putting up 30+ per game last year....wow....news to me......or did you mean to say he put up 30+ a few times when he ran the shit out of the ball?

Is that a good enough football question for you?

I've seen enough of fields/tape to come to the conclusion (a while ago) that throws/routes are there.....but he struggles to either see or let it rip. I thought he was similar to Cutler coming out and needed to see daylight to consider a guy open; THEN throw the ball with his strong arm....at that point in the nfl it's already too late...3+ years in and not much has changed with him......he'll have a good game here and there but he's been wildly inconsistent except for turnovers, sacks (and the rookie udfa d3 backup has proven the line is generally fine enough to eliminate most of the sacks) and durability (injured every year)

He's got 7 games left as a bear; deal with it.

You avoided the football strategy question. You brought up routes and can't discuss them when questioned

Then you avoided the JF passing and running for TDs last season to the
tune of 30+ points / game. While the defense squandered leads.

The Bears only averaged 19.2 points per game last year though.

Can you run the numbers and let me know how you got to 30+ppg from the bears last year....would love to see the attempted spin on that one.

And i haven't avoided anything....they give him quick hitting timing routes (he's not a timing passer)....they flood zones with 1-2 reads....and guys are either spaced poorly and/or fields doesn't throw it on time.

They give him deep crosses or outs and guy usually won't let it go in advance of seeing someone open.

If he played like he did vs wash/denver.....two pretty poor d.....vs those being one-offs; you'd have a different story....but he came out vs minn and looked exactly like he has his entire career...awful in the pass game and leading a disjointed offense.

You mean they didn't average 30 pts/gm?

@run and shoot aka poopy runs care to explain?
It's simple math:

Score 30-35ish 3 times

score below 29 14 times

Tell everyone you avg 30+ per game for the year

Then again; I've been told math is racist soooooooo; this fits right into the hustlers playbook.

Thus far Bagent has an INT rate of 0.05 on 96 attempts - while Fields had an INT rate of 0.04 on 50 attempts. So - pretty equal all things considered - which is on par for any rookie QB really. So - it looks like equal in that category with Bagent the clear frontrunner in TDs, yards, and completion percentage.
