Rose has played in 274 games outta 293 in his career. That's. .935% which is pretty good. And he's played through a lot of injuries and missed games for good reasons.

Well it's just this year it seems he misses a game or two every other week for whatever injury you want to put on him. He is either a vag or a fragile little man. But before everyone bashes me, I do like Rose, don't get me wrong. It's just I wanted to see him in these big games against the Heat, Magic and any other contender. The Bulls as a team don't seem to miss him though as they win and win and hold Orlando to 59. But come on dude. Kobe is my example of a ball player. Dudes a beast!

He doesn't have to tough out small injuries in a shortened season because his team is good enough to beat opponents without him. Why should he risk further turning a minor injury into something that could ruin their chances at success in the postseason so he can play in some meaningless game? This team is a lock for a top three spot in the East. Whatever way you look at it, we're going to eventually play Miami in the postseason as an obstacle to get to the Finals.
I'd rather have well rested starters, especially considering the circumstances to this season. Calling Rose "soft" because he's sitting out games in a shortened season is just foolish.

How? Kobe had that since the pre season. And then Wade busted his shit in the ASG. I agree with josmin... I know you don't want Rose to get worse but still. The weakest of injuries keep dude on the bench. I have a frien who tore his ACL and many other issues. Just bought a brace and he still runs with us.

Playing basketball =/= running.
Rose's injuries haven't been minor. Playing with turf toe can cause it to heal incorrectly or never heal at all. His back spasms were so bad he couldn't walk at times. I don't think I need to speak on how painful a groin injury would be.
Totally different situations between Rose and Kobe.

I agree if it's not so bad rest him for the post season but man. If it's not that it's this for Rose. Looks like the next BRoy to me. I do hope the Bulls or anyone get passed Miami though. I would love a Miami vs. La Finals. How sweet would that be?

Ask Deion Sanders how it was playing on turf toe for the better part of 5 years. Just like cornerbacks, basketball players are constantly making cuts and shifting their weight on there feet at full speed, so I'm sure as much as Derrick Rose wants to go out there and light up the Bobcats for 45, it's probably smarter that he rests his body.
All these injuries he's suffering from are nagging things from last year. The fucked up offseason didn't give him the proper treatment for the injuries, nor the ample time to heal from them. They're all compounding with these back-to-back-to-back games and huge road trips. Let the guy sit and be fresh for the playoff run. 'Cuz uh, we're going on one, bitches.
