Did not think Georgie had the stones...

Correct decision all around. Even funnier to make him do that presser then fire him right afterwards after Eberflushed said 'today's another normal day, we have a meeting in the afternoon then we're off for the weekend and come back on Monday.'

More importantly, is Ryan Poles next?

I’m in disbelief but who knew all it took was national embarrassment
Thats the only thing George cares about. Chicago fans could be embarrassed, but once it gets national…George ain’t with it

Yes, Flus is a raging asshat who needed to go. Especially for sitting on that timeout and terrible time management.

But shouldn't a majority of the blame go to Caleb on that last play?

Holy Shit! They did it!

But...why let him do that presser this morning? God these people are so out of sync with reality
Because they hadn’t made a decision yet. Gotta keep going with the normal until something is set.

In the mod forum planning your ban
They didnt quit as evidence by the fact they should have won yesterday. That doesnt mean Flus isnt terrible.
Flus literally was starting at the ceiling while the offense was in flux

My favorite teams
  1. New York Mets
  1. New York Knicks
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. New York Rangers
  1. Syracuse Orange

And Brown is the interim...honestly not sure how I feel about that. I just hope it doesn't distract from the gains on offense
Yeah it's a lot to put on the plate of a guy who's barely been a play caller in the NFL and now to expect him to take over head coaching doodies and i'm guessing still calling plays. I mean maybe there's someone he trusts to kinda help with play calling doodies already on this staff but either way it's a lot and this also could end up being the last time he coaches for the Bears if he doesn't get the full time gig because the whole new head coach wants his own people thing and would he take a full time OC spot with us after being our interim head coach for the rest of this season if that's offered to him. I would love that because i'm on record saying give me Vrabel as HC and TB as OC.

I hope the Bears learned their lesson but I'm sure they will go out and get another discount coach that stands there saying a bunch of words but in the end says absolutely nothing to the media for 15 minutes. Hopefully their search will lead to the hiring of a leader that will lead this team to an 8-9 record next year and 'hope' that the team will be in contention only to have it fail again and again. Maybe if they somehow human centipede Nagy, Flus, Lovie, Jauron and Trestman together they will get someone halfway competent.

Eberflus was the symptom. McCaskeys are the disease.

No. He is a rookie. Call TO to save your rookie for doing something stupid.

If potential coaches are more worried about the way they might get fired mid-season, then I would suggest you find a different coach to hire anyway.
But those type coaches are the ones the Bears would hire...lol

Too soon to start worrying about the inevitability of the Bears fvvking up this coaching search? . . .
