$16M for a guy that has averaged 4.5 sacks a season?!

Please, mod's unban Aaronitout. His bullshit would be comedy of epic proportions right about now.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

That's a pretty weak argument. He had 8.5 sacks last year and is trending up at just 26. The Packers are paying him for what they think he can do in the future, not his past. Similar to the Bears signing Trey Burton. Granted, it's a lot more money than Burton, but that's more to do with edge rusher vs. Tight End.

That must suck to face the reality that you are a lower tier guy. Very humbling.
lower tier starter still means $10-30M over a 6-7 year career at this point. If only I was humbled so much.

I can't see them signing another RB before trading J.Howard cause it would just hurt any value he'd have on the market if teams know we have our top 3 RB's in Cohen, Davis and Coleman, Ingram or Bell.

I really thought a great move would of been to cut Trevathon and sign A.Barr who can play ILB and OLB so he could of always been on the field at one of those two positions. Maybe we go after J.Houston, T.Gipson and a kicker with this money.

No. You do not cut Trevathan. As solid as it gets. Take him out and the defense takes a big step backwards. Never get rid of a core player when your time is now.

I doubt Nagy would let that happen. He loves some Trevathan, who's still playing damn good ball and is invaluable to Roquan.

I don't care about any player after the leave the Bears whether it be GB or SD, Who cares where they go. I guess there is the occasional Tillman or Forte I still root for but for the most part those players are quickly forgotten.

So you would be good with the Bears giving $16M to him?
