"He was told of his infraction points, and dabears70 just kept posting..."
If I just start deleting and editing remy's posts as he responds...who has the leverage?
Except of course Foles is a free agent now and can negotiate with whomever he wants because the Eagles couldn't actually afford him as a backup as you suggested.
Florio and PFT is not journalism....it is basically a click-bait site.....
They might as well start each thread with "This happened and the cameraman just kept rolling...." or "She had no idea why the men kept cheering...."
LOL - those click-bait titles crack me up. And if you've ever tried one, it's funny how the last, 30th 'Next' page, is the pictured topic. It's more a lab experiment."Bears met with 4 RBs at the Combine...YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!..."
I think it's obvious Foles wants to start, and he'll win that war. Plus he knows he'll get close to or more than $20m in guaranteed money anyway. He can't lose, unless he sucks. What will be kinda funny is if after voiding $20M guaranteed from the Eagles for one season and calling their bluff on franchise tagging him, he gets no more than say a 3yr $30M deal somewhere with $15 guaranteed. He may have won the battle but lost the war.
Not really lose any way for him to completely lose, but if he could have stayed in Philly, made $20M, and with CW's injury history, have a good chance of playing or at worst made $20M and preserved his body for a 2020 FA cash in vs getting out now and get maybe around the same money guaranteed over 3 years, not sure which is better.I think it's obvious Foles wants to start, and he'll win that war. Looks like the cap is going to be $188 million. Check out the story at the Washington Post story.

What number are the current cap estimates based on?
I think $190 million, came in lower I believe.
Ah, well that's not good. I assumed since it went up that was good news.
someone else can probably confirm to be exact.
I don't think 'preserving your body' for 2020 is at all enticing for 30 year old Foles who's never been allowed to play a full season. It's really hard for a QB to make progress or maintain his skills if he doesn't start every game. Not really lose any way for him to completely lose, but if he could have stayed in Philly, made $20M, and with CW's injury history, have a good chance of playing or at worst made $20M and preserved his body for a 2020 FA cash in vs getting out now and get maybe around the same money guaranteed over 3 years, not sure which is better.
Likely would have been a moot point regardless, Philly had until the 5th day of the league year to void the option year they picked up. He was never going to be in Philly next season, almost assuredly.
Bump because of the ccs idiots...
Adam Schefter - "The three teams that have shown the most interest in wide receiver Antonio Brown to date are the Oakland Raiders, Washington Redskins and Tennessee Titans, per league sources. Thus, the battle for Brown could develop into a battle between Grudens, Jon and Jay."
