Sure he might hear stuff from his agent if it involves him. I actually doubt most reporters who would rather be the first to report big news than the most accurate. I just don't buy that a player is going to EVER break news about other player transactions on a team. I mean, when have you ever seen that before?

If Pace signed a CB, even if it hadn't hit the news yet, he should call Porter's agent and tell him to go and get the best deal for his client.
