#Bears in heavy on Jeff Allen. Would be a big signing.

Interesting with the Massie rumors out there. Sign a guard AND a tackle? Kyle moves to LT?

The deal is definitely banking on Jackson becoming the next JJ Watt, which is insane. Paying for future performance to that level is a recipe for disaster.

No it isn't. It is banking on the fact that the market value of players has increased because the salary cap has increased and it is banking on the fact they have so underspent the salary cap in prior years that they need to spend a fuck ton this year or they will be in violation of the minimum spending requirements spelled out in the new CBA.

  1. North Carolina Tar Heels
Relax on Trevathan. Everything I'm hearing is the Bears are still the frontrunners... Falcons going hard after Mack may hurt their chances at Trevathan as well.

Holy fuck, everyone stop bleeding about Trevathan. Everything still points to him signing with us. It's not 3PM CST yet. Some of you guys are acting like females, jesus christ.

Fans want a constant stream of information, otherwise they think their team isn't doing anything. Pace runs a tight ship that has very few leaks and he's probably watching to see which dominoes fall first (besides Trevathan who appears to be his #1 target).

Honestly, Free Agency has gone as I thought it would from what we heard leading up to hit. Pace wasn't going to be in on the big fish if the money got too high and was going to focus more on the secondary market along with trying to get Trevathan. Nothing in that regard has changed.

Jenkins, Jackson, etc were never legit possibilities for us because they were going to command a shit ton of money and Pace wants no part of that.

Which like I said, is the sign of a poorly run organization. Having to shell out money like that to hit your salary cap floor is a poor way to run and build an organization. There are teams like Jacksonville in every sport. Overpay and under perform.

Except that it wouldn't. Long would move back to G so that the best five OL would play.

That does not seem to be the plan if the Bears are also going after Jeff Allen OG for Falcons.
Long, Slauson, Montgomer/Grasu, Allen, Massie
This could turn out to be one of the better olines in NFL. This also fits GatorMike's talk about a master plan from halas hall.

Hahaha this is so true. Atlanta should focus more on employing coaches who don't ask homophobic questions to prospects at the Combine.
