Pitre plays safety but was already thinking somewhere around $12 mil per for Kyler so i guess i could see it get to $13.Better to get this done sooner than later.
Pitre's deal should be near the ceiling of what Gordon gets based on his career so far, I was hoping more in the $10-11M rangePitre plays safety but was already thinking somewhere around $12 mil per for Kyler so i guess i could see it get to $13.
Dumb. Wilkins and Hunt are very good.
They probably loaded most of the guaranteed into this year and next, leaving a smaller cap hit if they decide to move on in year 3.Dont mind the Edwards contract but makes the Edmunds contract look that much worse considering TJ easily been the best LB on the team since they both been here. Edit: actually looking at the GTD money thats a lil rough

I have little doubt he will be released next year, especially given the contract Edwards just got.Edmunds needs to play like an all pro this year or he will be cut next offseason. Stupid signing to appease Flus.
Feels super likely they draft his replacement at 148.Edmunds needs to play like an all pro this year or he will be cut next offseason. Stupid signing to appease Flus.

how do they go from potential HOF center to a pro-bowl center just like that? Didn't even skip a beat
He’ll be cut regardless. The Bears aren’t paying him and Edwards next year.Edmunds needs to play like an all pro this year or he will be cut next offseason. Stupid signing to appease Flus.
Well they drafted Jurgens in the 2nd to groom him to replace Kelce.how do they go from potential HOF center to a pro-bowl center just like that? Didn't even skip a beat
That's why I like the Thuney pick, paired with a rookie. It's also why it's so hard to reverse the negative momentum of a bad franchise... but good teams have those veterans that lead the roster and develop the next wave. It's more powerful than coaching to have all-pro caliber guys for young players to look up to. So... I think the Bears can't overlook the need to train a guy behind Thuney and Jarrett.how do they go from potential HOF center to a pro-bowl center just like that? Didn't even skip a beat
