Every year the Saints push money into the future in an effort to stay average rather than just biting the bullet and rebuilding. It's dumb, but GMs are incentivized to avoid rebuilds by eeking into the playoffs every year or two even though they have no chance to actually be good.

They were the best team in the league for the first two weeks but then lost three in a row before Carr got hurt and then five more in a row.

That said two of those three losses were to KC and PHI.

After 11 years with the Dallas Cowboys, defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence opted to sign a three-year deal worth a base value of $32.5 million with the Seattle Seahawks as a free agent this week.

Several members of the Cowboys organization were upset with Lawrence's comment Thursday night, sources told ESPN.

Was Lawerence wrong? Cowboys aren't making the playoffs let alone a Super Bowl.

To be fair, Lawrence didn't say he would win in Seattle. Only that he would not win in Dallas.
