I seriously think I could name off 10 guys I'd rather see skating on the 4th line ahead of Bollig.

It seems that no matter how late in the game it is, Toews and Kane work well regardless. I think Q's logic is to spread out the guns, but when he needs em to go, he can count on them to produce.Seems that Q may be overcompensating for the bruising game that the Bruins play. I personally don't agree with it but I guess we will have to wait until the lineup comes out tomorrow...and when game 1 ends.
I like the makeup of the 3rd line as a nice shutdown line against the Bruins top one - but why separate Kane/Toews and move Bickell even?
That's what most everyone here thinks....well, maybe not Joe. He's the ultimate Chicago anti-fan. Follows all the teams but hates them all. But I digress....most of us here think the Hawks can win the Cup but also think they have a tough opponent who is also capable of winning it.

Really? Then pacify the keyboard pundits picking the Bruins to sweep or win in 5.
**** the Bruins. **** the whole "Boston Strong" bullshit, and **** their feeble attempt at trying to make a sport game some sort of patriotic rallying cry. I could give a rats ass what the Bruins did to the Pens and find it hilarious that people are judging the best team in the NHL, the Hawks for the slow minded, with a shit team filled with cry babies and over hyped media sensations who were lucky that they won a Cup already before Crysby had his national melt down for everybody to see and laugh at.
The Bruins are good, but they aren't Hawks good.
KANER!!!

Where did I say they didn't belong?I'm not anti-Chicago. I'm just not a homer.
I get pretty negative. I admit that.
But, seeing people like Martini talk about the Bruins like they don't belong is beyond ridiculous.

I have Blackhawks in 6.
Boston can certainly win this series though. Rask seems to be vastly underrated around here and he is the type of goalie that is very capable of stealing games for his team. The Blackhawks have probably never seen a team as physical as the Bruins. Shouldn't be an issue with the Blackhawks speed unless the Blackhawks let the Bruins dictate the type of game they play - much like the Bruins did to the Pens. We all saw Zetterberg and the Wings throw Toews off his game, I'd be very surprised if the Bruins don't take an in your face approach to Toews, considering they do it with almost player as that is their game. The key will be how the superstars on this team react to the crap and how they are able to play through. Leddy and Oduya will have to be strong on the back end as Boston has a solid forecheck game and those have been known in the past to go into the corners a little soft which would create turnovers for Boston. Finally...the PP could be the X-factor for both teams. The Bruins and Blackhawks are both great on the PK and terrible on the PP. Blackhawks speed should create some opportunities, and they need to create some chances out of those opportunities. Would be great to pop a few but they, at the very least, need to create and build momentum off of the man advantage.
Bulleye, Mr. Fisch. Easier to check them when they're on the ice together. The Bollig thing is baffling to me. Why take your fastest skater off the ice and slow yourself down when you need speed to overcome bulk?
I highly doubt there will be a lot of fighting. this could be misdirection strategy on Qs part and nothing more. im thinking stalberg will be in.

Speed isn't everything in playoff hockey since there isn't room to utilize it. What has he done that justifies for him to remain in the lineup. That, I understand. However, why Bollig? I don't understand that decision. I sure hope they're not trying to goon it up against the Bs. That's Pittsburgh's grave mistake. It won't work.
Q's just playing Bollig in a game to ensure he gets his name on the Cup. :woot:
