Last time I checked the Hawks were a 50% FO team during the playoffs and guess the **** what, they are in the Cup.

FO's are important during the PP, but guess what, the Hawks PP sucks. The PK is over 90%. FO's right now aren't gonna be that big a factor. The Bruins PP is almost as bad as the Hawks.

Seriously, watch the Leafs/ Bruins series. Now picture a faster team with more skill and better defenseman who can pass the fucking puck then the Leafs. Your welcome.

KANER!!!

Blackhawks are at 47% (14 out of 16 in the playoffs) and the Bruins are at 56% (1 out of 16 in the playoffs).

I think the issue has come to light again after the Blackhawks lost another defensive zone faceoff (albeit with Toews at the dot) that lead to the tying LA goal the other night.

Go ahead and look at my thoughts on points when it comes to Handzus here...

http://www.chicitysports.com/forum/showthread.php/34288-Blackhawks-Acquire-Handzus

Still the same. The points are a nice bonus but when the Blackhawks traded for him he checked off a small box that needed to be checked off.

All of a sudden this is the deepest team in hockey? In the Handzus thread you said the Blackhawks have "bad depth" and called the move an "irrelevant one". Just sayin...

you are such a fucking moron. you know exactly what i mean. deepest most talented 3 line combo in the nhl. the top 3 lines are stacked. you put zus on anyone of them he will look awesome. and as a whole...we have a lot of bad depth beyond line 3 of the same type of players. this isnt rocket science jesse.

This. The first time I just wanted them to win the Cup. Now I want to hear the UC erupt as the clock hits zero.

Last time that happened, I believe, was the 5th of the 6 Bulls NBA titles.

I'm fine with the Blackhawks winning in 5...but if it gets to 6 you better believe I would be fine with them winning in 6 because there is just no way I want to deal with a game 7, regardless if that means it is won on home ice or not.

Angry?

The Blackhawks have bad depth beyond line 3? Their depth beyond line three consists of Kruger and Frolik who have been great on the 4th line all year. After those two you had Mayers, Carcillo, and Bollig who went in and out of the fourth line. Pretty good depth all around. This team is deep all around at forward, defense, and hell even goalie with Emery.

FO's aren't gonna break this team.
Allowing morons like Marchand to get into their heads will. Toews is beyond that after Detoilet and the Kings tried really hard to replicate it to no avail. If Toews loses a FO, the guy who won was obviously a little better at the draw then him. Bergeron is gonna win most of his draws anyway so FO's are a moot point considering just how fast and how well the Hawks create turnovers.

There is a huge speed advantage to the Hawks. The Kings were a faster team then the Bruins and couldn't keep up.

And another thing about game trolling- I would welcome if one of the morons on the Bruins (Marchand) did it to Kane.

Kane is one of those players who likes to stick the dagger when somebody challenges him. Let them face wash him. Kane will turn around and just score goals. Hopefully somebody pisses him off.

Did I mention Kane= Crysby yet?

If Toews is able to get back into the swing of things the way Kaner has in the last two games, and the rest of the secondary scoring continues to chip in here and there, I don't see how Boston can keep up.

And they may not even need Toews to light up the scoreboard, either. It didn't seem to matter in the first 3 rounds.

Also, another key to the series will be how the Hawks handle Torey Krug. They'll definitely need to keep a forward up high on him whenever Boston is the on the PP, otherwise Krug has no problem putting the puck in the net himself. Real good player. But at even strength they need to make this rookie prove he can play NHL-caliber defense.

Exactly. Are the Bruins gonna focus on Bickell? If he is on Toews line along with Kane? Good fucking luck with that.

And I personally like Bolland on the fourth line this series. Hawks fourth line is gonna look extremely fast if paired against the Bruins fourth line.If Julien wants to play the match ups, well, the Hawks fourth line matches up pretty good with the Lucic line, also.

Gonna be adman good series

Also very interested to see how Q handles the matchups at home when Hawks have the last change. Pretty obvious that Keith and Seabrook will get the Lucic line, but what forwards do you put out there against them? Do you put Toews out there in hopes that he can win the draws and control the puck to keep it away from them? Do you put Handzus's line (assuming it's Sharp and Hossa on his wings again) out there so that the two-way game of Hossa and Sharp helps contain them?

Or does he get real ballsy and try to throw out the Frolik/Bolland/Kruger line out there and see if the Hawks 4th line can play a shutdown-style of hockey?

If that 4th line somehow manages to contain the Lucic line, which I don't think it will, that's an incredible Hawks' advantage.

On a wholly unrelated note, didn't realize that Tyler Seguin has been a ghost in this postseason. 16 GP, 1 G, 3 A.

Really? Then pacify the keyboard pundits picking the Bruins to sweep or win in 5.

**** the Bruins. **** the whole "Boston Strong" bullshit, and **** their feeble attempt at trying to make a sport game some sort of patriotic rallying cry. I could give a rats ass what the Bruins did to the Pens and find it hilarious that people are judging the best team in the NHL, the Hawks for the slow minded, with a shit team filled with cry babies and over hyped media sensations who were lucky that they won a Cup already before Crysby had his national melt down for everybody to see and laugh at.

The Bruins are good, but they aren't Hawks good.
