Personally I thought it evened out with the no call on goalie interference.

They waved off the goalie interference due to whichever Bruins player that it was that cross checked Handzus into Rask. Handzus was outside the crease in good position before he got hit. If you watch the replay closely, you will see the ref skate in, point to the goal indicating a good goal, then point at the Bruins player and indicate the cross check. That was a good piece of officiating. I would have been fine with that call no matter which team it went for.

Bruins were the better team last night - barely - but the energy level after the 1st for our boys was disappointing.

I knew this series was going 7 games, if we don't get that PP elevated to at least a respectable level we are going to continue struggling with these fucking Southies.

while the bruins player did nudge him, prior to that Handzus was pinning rask down with his stick across his back. I think he could have been called for that

It never comes down to ONE play. I just don't believe that happens. Pick any "controversial" game, and there probably a few mistakes made that could've altered the outcome.

The point is, that if a league is going to have a review/replay system in place, so that the games are NOT decided by an officials mistake/blown call...
Then why the **** pretend the puck didn't cross the goal, when replay clearly shows that it did?
Of course the Hawks made mistakes, but that happens. There is no system in place to perform a do over when a player fucks up, but there is supposedly one in place to correct officials mistakes, or in this case he lost sight of the puck...Isn't the camera and replay designed for this sort of thing? WTF?

We've seen our team rebound from this sort of thing, recently against the Kings and they came back determined. Against Boston, they seemed gassed and
discouraged and hat is on them, but they still got fucking hosed by the NHL.
