Lines remain the same: Hossa-Toews-Saad, Kane-Handzus-Sharp, Shaw-Bolland-Bickell, Bollig-Kruger-Frolik.

I'm thinking the Hawks lose tonight, hoping they win.

Note the difference.

What a joke that Bollig is still dressing. Q must be relieved of his pets next season.

Hawks better win tonight. I cannot bear the thought of going to Boston with this series tied up. Would much rather go in there with a 2-0 series lead and look forward to possibly taking one of the two in Boston. I would feel much better about this series if that was the case.

I mean I could see Ben Smith or even Jammal Mayers at this point over Stalberg. I just don't see what Bollig brings that those three couldn't.

Ben Smith last played a game, ahl even, when? That's just taking a wild card move when you don't know what you'll get from him at this stage.

And we saw Mayers that point when Toews was out... No, he's done, Bolig can skate and he doesn't go overboard like Carcillo.

I still don't get the way people view it as much of player vs player.. It's more role fitting as it seems for coaching choices. Q doesn't want a player who won't play the way his 4th line is set up on it.

GritzzZz and StuffzZzz.

Would love to see Smith out there with Kruger and Frolik. He would provide them with someone with some actual skill in front of the net. It isn't like the coaching staff hasn't seen what he can do in the playoffs before or anything.

Q is the greatestzzZz coach everzzz though, so why even question what he does?

About the same time that Brookbank had last played a game before he was forced into action. It is not like they would be asking Smith to play a ton of minutes, and the upside of what he could provide out there is much greater than what you are going to get out of Bollig. This isn't some regular season meaningless game, it is Game 2 of the finals, and putting a guy that provides nothing of value out there like Bollig is just forcing everyone else to play more minutes than necessary.

I think we'll take this one in another exciting game.

I picked Hawks in 6 from the beggining of the series though so I don't think it'll be a very easy series win.

Things started well for Brookbank right? He got better in the 3rd period but his shakey start doesn't help the idea if doing it again. That was a forced start as well and obviously an ahl option would of been as big a time off gap.

So you're point is that it's not like Smith has to play a ton of minutes, but Bolig is holding back by not playing few minutes. Do you think you honestly trust a guy coming out like that with no experience in game to play more than Boligs 6-7 minutes. I don't and think it's mere grass is always greener with him as an option.

So, did they just give Shaw a reason to take a run at him, or is it just me? I see a dumb penalty coming for some reason.

Have you ever dislocated a joint?, everything around it is sore for a good week or 2. His mobility is limited, and he has to fight the urge to protect the injury.

I'm not sure which is worse for Boston at this point, playing him injured or resorting to inexperience on the roster. The Hawks might be better off having him on the ice, and if he proves effective one good(and legal)hit should finish him for the evening.

Yeah, my shoulder is still messed up from wrestling in high school. Popped it back in Lethal Weapon style. Manned up and went back to practice.

It accomplished occasional pain for the last 17 years. It will accomplish surgery at some point most likely. At the time it seemed like a great idea though. Kinda like what Q must be thinking dressing Bollig.

Nah, that is what Shaw and Bolland are for. Trust me that one of them will take a run at him early in the first. I enjoy the fact that he might start the game. Nothing like playing a guy that will likely be out after a short period of time and therefor shortening the Bruins' bench after a marathon game the other night.

Not if you want to risk losing them for game. Those fuckstick NHL officials read the newspapers too....at least the ones who can actually read. They'll be watching if Horton's playing.

If only younger people would listen to older people about what not to do when they are young...

Stubborn invincibility.

This whole thought makes me wonder why someone would let their kid play football.

Nothing the officials can do if they make a run at him and lay a good clean hit on him. Nothing wrong with doing that, and one of the big reasons why teams will not state more that upper body or lower body when talking about injuries. Knowing that it is a shoulder injury will allow someone to line him up for a hit along the boards at some point.

I've noticed we generally spend the first half of our lives wrecking our bodies with reckless abandon, only to spend the second portion fixing everything before we die.

It's more like "trying" to fix everything.
