Yeah awesome villain who we know next to nothing about, who didn't raise a sword the entire show and who was a part of awesome battle scene where his generals did jack shit while he was killed by a little girl.

Better battle scene in the My Little Pony movie I just watched with my niece.

All agree that his demise was massively disappointing, but IMO until this season dude was badass AF.

Yes agreed he was badass before this season which makes the way he went out even more disappointing.

Let's be clear here on someting: the way in which he died was great, what led up to it was shit.

The opposite is true

1. What led up to it in the first 7 seasons was great which I think is what Spartan may be referring to.

2. What led up to it specifically in season 8 was terrible which I believe is what Gus is referring to.

3. The way he died ie Arya killing him was great which I believe is what Gus is referring to.

I agree with the first two. As for the 3rd, I would have had no problem with Arya killing him the way she did if he had fought Jon before or if those Generals of his had actually done something. As it stands, Arya just coming out of nowhere and killing him after running for her life the whole show against foot soldier undead was just completely unsatisfying. It is just really odd for a show to introduce such great villains in the NK and his White Walkers, have the run of the mill foot soldiers terrorize everyone only for the main villains to be defeated in such a lackluster way.

It would be as if the Avengers struggled against all of Thanos' minions only for Thanos to go do because Black Widow suck up on him and stabbed him in the back.

Tywin - Murdered by his own son that he hated.

Tyrion - The only sensible one in the bunch but still stupid enough to think he can win his psycho sister over.

Jamie - Fucked up his alleged redemption arc because he wants to **** his sister.

Cersei - Drives everyone who loves her away including the brother she is fucking and her own son who would rather murder himself rather than have her as a mother.

Joffery - Piece of shit product of incest that was so disliked that people celebrated when he died horribly.

Myrcella - Mother is so hated that the place she thinks of as home ends up poisoning her.

Tommen - Good lad so despises the horror that is his mother that as noted above he happily murders himself rather than continue on as a Lannister.

Unborn Lannister Baby - Will mercifully be spared growing up in this terrible piece of shit family when Cersei hopefully dies. The irony is by virtue of not being born and raised in this family, immediately becomes the best Lannister of the bunch by default.

In short, pretty sad when your never to be born child represents the best your family has to offer.

Well, jamie did save 1/2 a million people, and for all we know could be on his way to kill Cersei.

Am I the only one who doesn't think Jamie bailed on Brienne to go save/**** Cersei?

I feel confident he wants to stop the madness/stop her more than anything.... he might care about saving the child, which he knows is his.

I don't see him teleporting to King's Landing and taking command of the Lannister army in a bid to save Cersei.
Well, isn't that the normal reaction one has about an ex-lover after you find out she hired someone to kill you?

When was this? The dude spent episode 3 hugging the undead for most of the show. No real indication his services were required.

Arya saved 1/2 a million people. Jamie maybe saved Brienne and she rewarded him already by letting him take her virginity.

Jamie could have stayed in KL and all those people would still be saved. He brought no armies like Dany and Jon.

Sorry bro, his redemption never materialized. You wasted your time and put your faith in the wrong writers.

The way the NK was used from whatever season he began to the end of Season 7 was great (however, a strong argument could be made that his ice javelin throwing and the taking down the wall was kind of hokey). That Arya killed him with the Catspaw dagger was fantastic. The way the NK was used, overall, in the Battle of Winterfell was shitty.

I think he is referring to his killing of the Mad King before he could burn them all.

Yeah but I said he fucked up his redemption so the mad king would not make sense in that context as that would be before his alleged redemption arc.

Ncog been hyping Jamie's redemption arc for 2 years now surmising he would be instrumental in defeating the NK. In the end, he was not.

I am going to give you a minute to pull your head out of your ass and think a moment, before I reply any further. HInt, wasn't talking about episode 3.

Then once again your response makes no sense as I specifically said he fucked up his alleged redemption arc.

Responding with shit that has nothing to do with the redemption arc you claimed he was on would be odd but I guess after telling me for 2 years I was wrong, you need something to hold on to.

Question? Do you still think Jamie is on a redemption arc?

Senor Vortex clearly stated that a never to be born child was the best the Lannisters had to offer. Now I am quite sure he will try to move the goal posts and say he was only referring to what has transpired in the show, but the statement was clearly made in totality. With that in mind, you have to factor in the saving of 1/2 million innocents. And for all we know, the show could be going full circle with him now killing Cersei to prevent her from blowing up KL.
