you know its gonna be a good day when Koyie Hill is hitting home runs. Maybe I'll hit an off speed pitch or take a walk.

Burrell smacked the shit out of that ball. I forgot about Pat. Didn't even know he was still playing. Lol

It would have been interesting to see what this season would have been like with having 5 major league caliber starting pitchers.

Huge walk by Soriano in that situation. Wish it would have mattered more, but it does seem like Soriano is seeing the ball a lot better the past couple of weeks.

Does Bill Hall play for the Cubs?

The strikezone to Blake Dewitt was beyond terrible there.

Great walk by soriano there.

And that's why bob wants and automated strike zone. Doesn't throw a single strike yet up 1-2 in the count.

Well when the zone is that bad and inconsistent, he has a case. It gets old hearing about it, but that was really, really bad. I mean none of those balls were close and he called two pitches in virtually the same spot two ways in the span of 3 pitches.

That is the one thing that I think you have to give the Cubs. They haven't quit this year. This is one of many games where you thought they are done for, and yet they often can claw their way back into the game. They still probably lose, but it is nice to see.

I call it giving effort and heart. Glad to see these guys give some from time to time.
