My favorite teams
Getting married on a Sunday in November, reasons are price was half at the venue and my families restaurant is closed on Sunday so that is the best date for my side. Outside of mine next month I think I have been to maybe one more and I have been to a shit ton of weddings. Sunday weddings are far from the norm. So having a wedding conflict with an NFL game is pretty low, but I'm not twisted in the head in thinking a football game is more important than a wedding.

Most people want a day to recover for themselves and to give the guests (especially the out of town guests) a day to recover and situate themselves. That's why Sautrday's are most popular hence why venues can charge more for Saturday weddings

Yeah, I think I would strongly think of not going to a Sunday wedding.
Friday's are bad too since I have to basically request the afternoon off work in order to make it on time.

I'm now at 34. All Saturday's. Trying to find national statistics on it but all I can find is "Saturday is the most popular day for a wedding" type entries. Can't find stats.

As someone that has been a partner in a wedding venue, more than 85% of all weddings booked have been on a Saturday, and that is a conservative estimate. Sunday weddings are not uncommon and nor are Fridays but Saturday's are the peak business day for weddings by far. Not even close

What you actually said is "a lot of weddings happen on Sunday's"..in context...that's not really true. So far in this thread sample size alone you are looking at 3 Sunday weddings out of everyone that has said anything.
