Also, I'm moving to Germany in December so with the seven hour time difference, games start at 7 and almost every place is closed on Sunday. Nothing interferes with footbaw out there.

LOL, is this thread fucking serious? Some guy wants advice on how to get out of going to a winery so he can watch a Bears/Lions 13-9 crapfest? Then a bunch of morons telling him to "be a man" and tell her no? For one, it isn't the playoffs. Two, both teams outright suck. Three, she isn't asking you to sit through an opera, a winery will be a good fucking time. You get drunk, then go back home and ****. Let her know you're missing the Bears game for her, if she knows how much you love to watch them, that will mean a lot to her. If the Bears game is that important to you, call off work sick on Saturday and take her then. If you don't want to do that either, go back to fucking your hand.

No but at a wedding for packers fans once(groom's cake was a packers logo), I snuck "Bear down Chicago Bears" on the playlist. Joke did not go over well. Also the couple got divorced within 2 years.
I'm currently done with catering, now a partner in a string of Irish bars in Atlanta and opening up my own place next month.
