4 years with the 5th option. I was referring to 3 after the 2 assumed years.

..and the Bears could exercise the 5th year option...for peanuts...so Trubisky can not leave unilaterally after 3 years, or 4 years, and do you think 5 years from now if he hasn't played he will net a 1st rounder?

What's your point at this juncture of the conversation?

Yes. $9 million dollars of guaranteed money for a backup QB in today's NFL is nothing.

Do you understand the NFL salary cap structure?

Yes and it would be hard to afford other acquisitions. Plus he would just ride out his contract and go to another team and start. He wouldn't sign that shit.

That eventually he would leave and we would get nothing. 5 years and even if he makes Matt Flynn money, he would take that somewhere else rather than ride the bench till he is over 30 when Glennon finally retires.

Of course he wouldn't bet a 1st rounder 5 years later. That's why you have to trade him in 2 if you know Glennon is all pro.

So now the goal posts have moved to trading Trubisky after year two because hypothetically in year five he'd move on and the Bears would get nothing.

This is pathetic, even by your standards.

Have a good one.
