Who cares what the Packers want?
What is the NFL willing to give up for him?--That's the important question.
Other teams?

He is going to get starter money somewhere.
Based on what?
Why?
From who(m)?
Wouldn't that mean he gets another rookie level deal?Um his stock coming out of college?

For not playing an NFL down?
That's unlikely
He was a top QB coming out and the only reason for not playing would be great QB play already on the roster.
A team is going to start him and pay him such.
Not a NFL team, they wouldn't risk paying starter money for someone who's never started regardless of their college pedigree. He will already be a few years removed from that anyways.
Totally disagree. Look what Trubisky is making now. Worst case would be he takes a prove it deal like Glennon.
So basically his rookie deal...
Bears couldn't afford that and a Carr like deal.
I read an article that the Packers were looking for a 1st round pick.
And even so, Trubisky would want to go to a team where he would be starting....
That doesn't necessarily mean he will get starter money though
I want to live in this fantasy world where we get everything that we want
Packers want a first round pick for a backup QB with pre-season experience
I want an AMG Mercedes for the price of a Honda Civic
Yeah...I don't get it...if you look at the QBs that are wanting to get a chance to start...their salary is around 6 million a year.
Check this out didshe
Even if that is true and he only gets that amount ( I think he gets more do to being such a high draft pick but I will play along)... he still would want to start. Why would he take a Bears matching deal when they are playing Glennon?
Because he'd get a chance to start
