That was incredible! Got home at halftime and it looked to me like the US got outplayed for most of the 2nd half but fantastic goal near the end there

I thought it was the smart thing to do. The USA looked gassed even just parking the bus....if they had tried to go toe to toe they would have been in trouble.

USA have a nice team. Nothing flashy, but they get the job done. Omelet and others that want to learn more about the game, I would recommend watching teams like Germany, Brazil, Argentina, Belgium, etc.. play. It would give you a better idea of how great teams look. It really is a team sport, starting with the managers tactics and how the players execute it.

OK... I know nothing about soccer so maybe Ghana is really good or something... But why the **** are we all excited about beating some little shithole country like Ghana? Is USA soccer that bad?

Ghana actually has a solid squad. I had Ghana in 2nd place in the group until recently where USA impressed me with their solid play.
