How has this film not been mentioned yet?
Greatest movie ending twist ever IMO and put Kevin Spacey and Benicio Del Torro on the map.
Absolutely!

Hard to pick greatest...
I did enjoy the Sting, Braveheart, Serpico, Color Purple, Jaws, Shawshank, Good Bad Ugly, Green Mile, Psycho, Night of the Living Dead, Last King of Scottland, Finding Forester, Dead Poet Society, Deer Hunter and Over the Cuckoo's nest... just off the top of my head.

Blackhawk Down = GOATest of all time GOAT movie
Of course you already knew the story of why that is one of my favorites of all time
The Usual Suspects is a great movie, I love it and repeat watch it all the time.
It does have one giant flaw, the entire point of the movie is that Keyser Söze want's to kill the one man that can identify him. How did that work out?
No doubt Söze is a brilliant badass, but he losses in this movie, he went from one guy that saw him, to everybody knowing exactly what he looks like.
Didn't it turn out that he didn't really exist and it was the crippled guy just knocking everybody else off? He drove away with that guy who set it all up saying he worked for Soze.

O Brother where art thou?
Keyser Söze was pretending to be Roger "Verbal" Kint. His plan was to use the other guys to help him to kill the only man on earth that could identify him. He told the other guys it was a heist on the boat, but it was just a hit.
Problem one, the guy on the boat lived, he got pretty fucked up but was able to give a description to a police artist.
Problem two, The cops all spent the day with him, they know what he looks like. Did they take a mugshot of him, they sure as hell did back in NYC.
In fairness Söze did not know the guy from the boat survived, as far as he knew he was getting away scott free. But the evil genius fucked thing up for himself, he totally failed at keeping his identity a secret, actually made shit a lot worse.
Problem One - The guy he was trying to kill did die. It was the Marquez dude. The guy who survived had never seen Soze before that night because he was part of the Hungarian outfit that the Argentinians were selling Marquez to because the Hungarians wanted to know the identity of Soze to get revenge. So he only saw him that night as Kint ie Soze was killing people including Marquez.
Problem two - Soze wasn't concerned about ultimately being exposed. He was concerned about being exposed before he could set things up to go back in the shadows. Marquez was a drug dealer. The fact he and he alone was one of the few guys that knew Soze's identity suggests he had a more intimate knowledge of his operations than most of the people Soze dealt with. He wasn't simply killing him because he knew his identity. He was killing him because he needed him dead before the Hungarians could use Marquez to figure out not only his identity but more detail on his operations. That's why in the background while he is being held, Kobayashi is essentially concluding business that will allow Soze to return back to the shadows.
That's not to say everything went according to plan but Soze's plan but it was Soze that uses Keaton's girlfriend to set up the exchange with the Argentinians and Hungarians because he wanted to kill two birds with one stone. This is just like the story Kint tells us that started Soze's legend about how after the Hungarians came for his family, Soze killed them and everyone they knew, etc. before disappearing. So this was Soze cleaning house before disappearing again and the story below was him fucking with Kujan by not only explaining his first disappearance but also his upcoming disappearance after wiping out a decent chunk of his enemies.

That's why at the end of the movie Kint ie Soze repeats the line about the Greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist and says that his guess is that after this you will never hear from Soze again. Of course Kint knows this because he is Soze. It was Kujan who thought Soze only cared about his face being revealed because it was Kujan's theory. But Kint already told you Soze's endgame ie disappearing again, it's just that Kujan didn't realize this because he thought Kint was a loser cripple.
That's the beauty of the movie as there are all these hints that if you were paying attention, you would realize Kint is Soze like when he says at the very beginning the interrogation that all the other guys in the lineup were hardcore smugglers and there was no reason for him to be in a lineup with them. Except of course, he was put with them because he was Soze himself and Soze orchestrated the lineup for this very purpose.
Haven't seen Wyatt Earp mentioned , Kurt Russell, Val Kilmer love that movie ...."I'm your Huckleberry "
The Kevin Costner version belongs in WOAT.
