WTF are you talking about? They couldn't get Mayo because Memphis' owner hates Reinsdorf. They couldn't get Young because Washington wasn't moving him at the time. Believe me, if they could get Young right now...they would.

Right now giving a pick would be enough for Nick Young.But right now you have Hamilton being injured in 30 games.So I would go for it too.

The right way for a SG to play is the way Ray and Rip are playing.If you are not a franchise player SG then this is the way you should play.And that's why Hamilton was the first choice of the best team in the league and not Mayo or Young.They could go for Mayo or Young easily if they wanted.Of course Hamilton's injuries is an other discussion.But in terms of basketball Hamilton is way better player than both of them.You can't compare them.

your argument really doesnt make any sense and is irrelevant(i understand what you're saying...but alot of SGs play well in a team setting and arent franchise SGs..i dont get what you're accomplishing with this argument anyhow)

hamilton isnt a top 10 SG nor a top 15..he's in the 20s most likely

Deal with what?I know he is not a top10 player at the SG position.Didn't disagree with that.He is a top10 "pure" SG.But that list with Derozan,Young,Mayo,Henderson and Brooks over Hamilton was a joke.

When Rip is healthy he can be a top 15 SG he used to be a top 5 SG back in the mid 2000s when Detroit made the ECF almost every time. I like Rip a lot I hope he can stay healthy when the playoffs start because it gets us closer to beating the Heat.
