Wrong. If you wanted the Seahawks to win, it means that you like effete cappuccino drinking vegetarian men more than hard working blue collar real men with moustaches who take a lunch pail to work. It also means you love socialism, sushi, and cats, and that you hate America. You have no respect for the black and blue division, and Ditka thinks you're a poofter. It's really quite simple.
No, it just means you appreciate great QBs and great RBs and maybe even have a strong dislike for the Packers too. C'mon, bud, you know you wish the Bears had a real QB and manly RB like them. Who ya kiddin'?

What is hilarious, is that description, is how I have always pictured you.

did bearmick really just say that?

I mean, I think Seahawks fans are complete bandwagon chodes and all, but this is the Packers. under no circumstance, especially channeling the Ditka, do you ever wish for those assholes to win. you talk about respect for the black and blue division, what were your thoughts on the Lions making the playoffs? I don't remember a post about how we should kiss their asses cause they're in our division.

and Rodgers is a cockmonkey.

The SeaHawks play more like the Bears teams of the 80s than just about any current team. The Packers are more of the poofter team than Seattle. I like watching the way the SeaHawks play. Teams that come into that stadium know that if they win, they have to earn it. No one goes into Quest without bringing their best game. And no one leaves without needing some ice and motrin afterward.

Umm, no they aren't. I've lived here for 13 years. They cheered on this team when they were horrid, and when they were good. Bandwagon fans are the ones that wear a Steelers jersey one year, then a Cowboys one another. They have bought a lot more shit this year for sure but that is to be expected. If the Bears make the playoffs I am willing to bet that all of us would be buying more crap too. Kinda goes with the territory.

I don't really dispute that, I've been aware of their strong fanbase even as they've had to endure some terrible teams for decades. there is a major influx of bandwagon fans on top of it though. I'm sorry for accusing them all of being bandwagon fans bro

Every winning team has bandwagon fans. I am willing to bet there are some 'fans' out there with Urlacher jerseys deep in their closets. I'm sure they are right next to their Elway jerseys and their McNabb jerseys. But there are a lot of true fans up here. Most of my friends these days are SeaHawks fans. I can't say that I am a fan, to me being a fan means sticking with your team, even if you aren't living there anymore but I don't cheer against them. I certainly was happy to see them win against the Packers.

Until recently the Hawks had the reputation of being a team that could only win at Quest. If you remember the teams of the early 2000s that was their entire MO, great at home, mediocre at best on the road. This was entirely because of the fanbase which could really get Quest field rocking. This was entirely because of the fanbase, the team fed off of them and played better because of that fanbase. Lets face it, there isn't much else up here to cheer about sports wise. The city lost it's basketball team, the Mariners haven't been relevant in 15 years and there has never been an NHL team here. For the most part it has been the University of Washington and the SeaHawks.

Now if the Mariners start winning I will be all over the bandwagon fans here because when it comes to baseball a large number of them are bandwagon fans. In the 90s they loved this team but don't seem to give to snots about them now. And they are pretty good. If the Cubs had a field like Safeco in Chicago it would be sold out every game. Even when they were in the division race it was hard to get the place filled up.

I should reiterate..

ton of people I'm friends with on fb that didn't give a shit about football are waving the Seahawks flag every chance they get. this is both people in Chicago and Washington, and this was long before today's matchup as well, so it's not out of spite of the Packers. I also genuinely don't know which direction this Super Bowl's gonna go.

my friend in new orleans who was vehemently anti-sports became a bandwagon fan in 2006 and had a nfccg party and called me and the entire party laughed in my face over the phone after reggie bush's touchdown. that worked out well for him/them.

Fans of one of the worst teams in the NFL takes pleasure over Packers loss. That's why Bear's fans are known as losers in the league

Or maybe it's just a response to all the Packer fans that come to the Bears MB after the Bears were out of it to give the Bears fans shit for no reason? :dunno: If you gonna whip out a sword, be prepared to die by the sword!

But what would you know, you're a Jets fan.
