I remember that at T birds house, he was beside himself when the chicken went in the cup.

We all had s such a good time , that's how I always remember Tom, always had a good time when we were together.

Rest in peace my dear friend, men like you do not come around often, I'm glad we shared some very happy times.

I saddens me that the new american car I bought last august never had the pleasure of being parked in tbirds driveway.

when I logged on a few minutes ago and saw the change in the thread title, my heart sank. Which shows you how much of an impact he had here and back in the oboard days and I had not even met him in person.

One of Tbird's final posts at IHN.

I can't stop laughing.

We always joked about our age, I think he took more shit over it than me even tho I'm older.

Now it's Mill and I as the OLD guys.

Thanks for the memories Tom.

First round of the playoffs against Calgary. We are at a Closed Practice at the UC watching the Hawks and Flames skate before game #1 of the series.

Tom, I and Patrick Sr are standing there near entrence to the bench talking. Steve Konroyd comes up and says Hi to Patrick and I, turns to Tom and says "HI, Mr. Seabrook, how are you". Thinking it was Bill, Brents father. The look on our faces and TOMS was priceless. Tom goes, "But I'm not Mr. Seabrook" and Steve goes, "but you are".

Tom, "Ok I can be Mr. Seabrook if you like">........

I still crack up laughing to this day. Tom Seabrook.

I didn't know him well, but two things stand out...

1. Playing in the IHN game while battling PC...

2. A friend's father was newly diagnosed and considering the Whipple procedure. She asked me if I knew anything about it. I told her to hang on and shot Tom and Amy a note asking if he'd share his experience with my friend's father. They were on the phone that evening, two strangers fighting a common enemy.

He is one helluva man.

Uptown baby!
Wow. I am saddened to read this news today of the worst possible outcome for TBird and his family. My sincerest condolences go out to his family and friends---thank goodness he had all their love and tremendous support through all of his cancer ordeals these past few years and especially during these final days. He and his family are in my thoughts.

Yeah, I always busted his balls about being the old man, but he was actually a couple of years younger than me, something he wasn't shy about reminding me.
